Behind the opening
Where sufficient side room and headroom are available, the guides and roller assembly can be positioned behind the opening. This generally provides the greatest clear drive-through width and height.
Within the opening
Where side room is limited, the door can be installed within the opening. The guides and/or roller assembly will occupy some of the available opening.
Outside the opening
Where suitable internal fixing space isn’t available, an external face-fixed arrangement may be possible, subject to the building and door specification.

Give us the actual opening dimensions and available space around it. We’ll establish the appropriate door size and fixing arrangement.
For quotation purposes, photographs of the opening are also extremely useful.

Yes. Roller shutter doors are manufactured to suit the individual opening and required specification. Provide your opening width, height and available space around the opening and we’ll help establish the appropriate door size and configuration.
We normally need the opening width, opening height, available headroom and the space available to both sides of the opening. Measurements should be provided in millimetres. Photographs of the opening can also be helpful.
Yes. Depending on the available space and door specification, roller shutters can be face fixed behind the opening, reveal fixed within the opening or, where appropriate, externally face fixed.
Yes. Delivery is available throughout the UK and is priced according to the door size, quantity and delivery location. Multiple doors can usually be combined into the same delivery where practical.
Yes. We can quote for single doors or multiple-door projects. Ordering several doors together can also make delivery more economical where they can be consolidated into one shipment.
Yes. We can arrange professional fitting of your roller shutter door if required. Installation can be quoted separately based on the door specification, site location and access requirements. (Subject to availability)
Yes. Remote-controlled operation is available, along with options such as key switches, push-button controls and other access-control equipment depending on the selected door.
Yes. We can supply insulated commercial roller shutters as well as insulated roller garage doors for domestic applications.
Yes. A range of finishes and colours is available depending on the door type, including galvanised, Plastisol and powder-coated options. We’ll confirm the available colours for your selected specification.
Manual override options are available and are included with certain motor and door specifications, allowing the shutter to be operated in the event of a power failure. The exact arrangement will be confirmed with your quotation.
Yes. Roller shutters can be supplied for existing garages, workshops, industrial units and other suitable openings as well as being incorporated into new steel buildings.
